Antibody screening service on HuProt™ arrays
We offer a fully bespoke service for screening monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies of different species on HuProt arrays, as well as for recombinant antibody formats, single domains or binders based on different scaffolds. Cross-reactivity of antibodies is recognised as a crucial issue. Validation of antibody specificity is now understood to be critical to obtaining correct reproducible data in all techniques where antibodies are used, from Western blotting and cell sorting to immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation. Many erroneous literature results have come about through use of poorly validated reagent antibodies. Protein arrays are an important means of validating antibodies for these applications and a very effective way of pinpointing off-target reactivities.
Autoantibody screening service on HuProt™ arrays
We offer a comprehensive service for analysing autoimmune samples (plasma, serum or cell culture fluid) on HuProt arrays. With a repertoire of 23,000 full length human proteins, HuProt arrays are an ideal platform for autoantigen discovery at the broadest level. In addition to known autoantigens, further targets may be involved in giving rise to hitherto unsuspected autoimmunity.

Other proteome-wide screening of protein-protein interactions, RNA/DNA-protein interactions, small-molecule – protein interactions, post-translational modifications or any different interactions can be performed on HuProt arrays, providing an ideal comprehensive platform. Design of arrays with customised content
If you are interested in a limited selection of defined proteins from the HuProt collection, we can work with you to design customised arrays. Up to 200 proteins can be accommodated, printed in repeated subarrays on the same slide, allowing efficient and economic screening of larger sample numbers.
