Mike Taussig was a distinguished speaker in the "Biomarkers in Diagnostics" session at the Biomarker Europe Summit 2014 in Dublin, October 2014. This meeting coincides with Drug Discovery Week Europe 2014.

 

EUROPEAN CONGRESS ON BIOTECHNOLOGY, EDINBURGH, JULY 2014

Mike Taussig presented a talk entitled "How to Improve the Chance of Your Paper Being Accepted" at the 16th European Congress on Biotechnology in Edinburgh, July 2014. Mike also chaired the publications workshop.

Mike Taussig and Oda Stoevesandt presented talks entitled "High Density Protein Arrays" and "Protein Arrays Printed From DNA Arrays by Cell Free Protein Expression: Application for Antibody Screening" respectively at the 4th Public Status Seminar: Cell-Free Protein Synthesis in Potsdam, January 2014.

BERLIN-BRANDENBURG TECHNOLOGIEFORUM "In Vitro-Diagnostik und Bioanalytik", POTSDAM, JUNE 2013

Ronny Schmidt attended the 5. Berlin-Brandenburg Technologieforum "In vitro Diagnostik and Bioanalytik" and gave an invited talk with the title "On demand cell-free Protein Arrays" presenting the DAPA technology in Potsdam, June 5-6.

 

CAMBRIDGE PROTEIN ARRAYS AWARDED GRANT FROM THE UK TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY BOARD (TSB)

Cambridge Protein Arrays Ltd and Protein Technologies Ltd have embarked on a joint feasibility study after receiving a TSB grant to optimise the printing of multifunctional bio-inks onto packaging labels. This project will run April - December 2014 with the aim of further developing anti-counterfeiting technology (PTL's Myrida system) for the shipping of pharmaceuticals and other sensitive goods.

 

CAMBRIDGE PROTEIN ARRAYS IS NOW EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTOR FOR HUPROT™ ARRAYS

Cambridge Protein Arrays Ltd have entered into a distributorship agreement with CDI Laboratories Inc, under which we are now European distributors of HuProt™ arrays, the most extensive human protein arrays currently on the market. HuProt arrays contain over 17,000 unique human proteins, representing more 60% of the human protein coding genes.

BBMRI-LPC (FP7-INFRASTRUCTURES-2012-1) is a four-year project from February 2013 to help scientists to have better access to large European studies on health. We are coordinating WP9 (Research on sample management and analysis). [Press release]

Mike Taussig chaired a session on Affinity Proteomics at the 15th European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB15), 'Bio-crossroads', in Istanbul, September 23-26, 2012. Mike was also chair of the scientific programme committee for the congress.

CAMBRIDGE PROTEIN ARRAYS AWARDED GRANT FROM THE UK TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY BOARD (TSB)

The company has been awarded a grant from the TSB for a Feasibility Study for Technology-Inspired Innovation entitled 'On demand' protein arrays for personalised proteomics. The period of the award is from 1st August to 30th November 2012. The funded work will be to optimise technology parameters of the DAPA system.

 

EUPA 2012 MEETING, GLASGOW, JULY 2012

Mike Taussig was a speaker on 'Protein arrays and Personalised Proteomics' at the European Proteomics Association (EuPA) Scientific Congress 'New Horizons and Applications for Proteomics' (EUPA 2012) in Glasgow, July 9-12, 2012.
